Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review closing documents for accuracy and compliance
- Coordinate with loan officers, processors, title companies, and borrowers to schedule closings
- Ensure all underwriting conditions are satisfied prior to closing
- Verify final figures, fees, and closing disclosures
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and investor guidelines
- Confirm funding authorization and disbursement of funds
- Audit loan files for completeness and accuracy
- Provide exceptional communication and customer service throughout the closing process
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth, on-time closings
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Mortgage Closer (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documents and closing procedures
- Familiarity with TRID guidelines and regulatory compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude — teamwork is a must
